A perfect combo of sightseeing, relaxation at the hot spring nature bath and the wonder of the Northern Lights in a comfortable mini-bus with maximum 18 passengers.
This is ideal for those who prefer to enjoy a leisurely breakfast as the Golden Circle tour starts at 10:30, no rush no fuss! If conditions for the Northern Lights are good, we recommend that you take the Deluxe tour that same evening as you can always reschedule later with our Northern Lights bus is no lights are seen.
Main highlights are Þingvellir is a national park where the two tectonic plates are slowly drifting apart. The Geysir hot spring area with geyser Strokkur erupting hot water up to 20 metres high every 4-8 minutes and Gullfoss Waterfall which never disappoints. Last but not least, you can relax in the Secret Lagoon, which is one of the oldest natural geothermal swimming pools in Iceland. See detailed tour descriptions here for the Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon and here for the Northern Lights Deluxe tour.
We will back in Reykjavik around 18:30 so will have time for dinner before you head out again to hunt for the northern lights. You have the option to book the tours either on the same day or two different days.
