Practical tour information

The Golden Circle is approximately 250 km long route from Reykjavík and back. In all our Golden Circle tours, we visit “Þingvellir”, Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. Þingvellir, a UNESCO World heritage site and Iceland’s oldest national park, where the old Viking parliament was founded and the tectonic plates are slowly being pulled apart. Gullfoss is a powerful waterfall created by Iceland’s melting glaciers and the Geysir is an area with many bubbling hot springs and some erupts water up to 25 metres in the air. Enjoy the Golden Circle route in the afternoon when the sites are less crowded. In this tour, we also visit the beautiful “Faxi”, a pure spring river waterfall, located in extremely beautiful landscape. Lunch stop on the way (lunch not included in the price).
