Practical tour information

The Highland Hikers Passport is ideal for those that plan to hike the Laugavegur or Fimmvörðuháls hike, Iceland’s most popular hiking trails. Here you can find information about the trails, accommodation and necessary equipment.

You get transfers with our scheduled bus from Reykjavik to where you are beginning your hike and back from the end point. You can take all the time you need for your hike as long as you are within operation period.

Schedules that are relevant to this passport are: 12/12a, 13/13a and 14/14a

The Higland Hikers Passport is valid from June 20th to September 09th for transfer to the beginning of your hike and back from the end point. (2 transfers –  choice between 3 routes). Please note that September 9th is the last day of operations!

Location: South Iceland’s highlands
Duration: 2-5 days (or longer)
Departures: Daily from Reykjavík Campsite at 07:10 and from Harpa Concert Hall at 07:30.
Passengers must be at the bus station at least 10 minutes prior to departure.
Valid from June 20th – Sept 9th
Pick up & drop off: Not included.
