Sterna Travel was established in 2002. The company name is taken from the Latin word „Sterna Paradisaea“- the Arctic Tern, a travelling bird. We are a fully registered travel agency and have been a proud recipient of TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence for six consecutive years and therefore we have been admitted to their “Hall of fame” both in the year 2018 and also 2019.
Sterna Travel offers day- and two-day tours from Reykjavík all year around in a shared bus. In summer time we offer tours to the beautiful highlands and in winter time we operate northern lights tours and two-day tours with accommodation.
